Rainier Beach Dominates Seattle Prep 100–72 | Tyran Stokes Shines

Rainier Beach High School made a statement Tuesday night, rolling past Seattle Prep 100–72 in a Metro League showdown and showcasing its firepower on both ends of the floor.

The Vikings weathered an early deficit and trailed 41–37 at halftime, but the game shifted dramatically after the break. Rainier Beach came out of the locker room with renewed energy, pushing the tempo and overwhelming Seattle Prep in the third quarter.


Senior star Tyran Stokes led the charge, delivering a dominant all-around performance that set the tone for the second half. The nation’s top-ranked senior prospect finished with an unofficial 52 points, asserting himself as the difference-maker whenever momentum was up for grabs.


Rainier Beach poured in 38 points in the third quarter, with Stokes accounting for 20 of them during a decisive run that blew the game open. His scoring burst included multiple highlight plays that energized the crowd and shifted full control to the Vikings.


The victory improved Rainier Beach to 4–0 on the season, reinforcing its position as one of Washington’s top high school basketball programs. Stokes, a 6-foot-7 point forward who transferred from Southern California, continues to make an immediate impact in his new environment.
